Lost Hagar knew, when loomed the well
With water bubbling in,
And Moses, too, when manna fell
In wilderness of Sin;
The widow guessed as oil and meal
Began to freely pour;
The palsied one whose hand did feel
A growing strength once more.
They each one knew that blessed sign
Was sent from Him above
Gently to show with grace divine
That God, our God, is Love.
