I am very grateful for the healing of a poisoned arm through Christian Science. One night I awoke and found that my arm was swollen and inflamed from the shoulder to the wrist. The next day I went to a friend's home, and she lovingly asked me if I would care to stay with her. During that day the pain was so intense I asked my friend to call a practitioner to help me. By that time the poison had broken out on my body.
The practitioner came to see me the next day and treatment in Christian Science was continued. In a few days the inflammation and pain completely disappeared, and I was free.
The comforting words of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, in Science and Health (p. 393), "Have no fear that matter can ache, swell, and be inflamed as the result of a law of any kind, when it is self-evident that matter can have no pain nor inflammation," which I held to, were of great help in bringing about this healing.
