Jesus said (John 18:37), "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth."
A few years ago, following the birth of our daughter, I found myself in great pain and distress. I was suffering from milk leg, anemia, a strained back, Bright's disease, displaced organs, and extreme nervousness. The pain became almost unbearable. I turned wholeheartedly to God for healing and was soon relieved of the pain. Within three years, with the help of a practitioner, I was completely healed of all those ailments. During that time disappointment, discouragement, and fear presented themselves, but in every instance divine Love was proved adequate to meet every erroneous suggestion.
Because of the unloveliness of my physical appearance I hesitated to go to church or any public place, until the practitioner explained to me that if I were conscious of the fact that man is spiritual no one would see any inharmony in me. Holding to this thought, I went everywhere I had to go, and no one ever mentioned the condition. On another occasion, when a blood clot appeared and tried to destroy my life, I again relied on Christian Science for help and was healed.
