One of the loveliest things about the Christian Science movement is that all may share its gracious ministration. There is no ordained priesthood, but all help one another and the common cause in the degree of their spiritual understanding and ability.
Paul, in writing to the Corinthians, said (I Cor. 12:46): "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all." Even so in the Christian Science movement each individual, in the degree that he allows himself to be God-governed, finds the way in which he individually can best contribute to the spiritual healing and regeneration inaugurated by Christ Jesus and restored through Christian Science.
Some of the vehicles for healing given us by our beloved Leader are The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and The Herald of Christian Science in its various editions. In the pages of these periodicals Christian Scientists who feel perhaps that their contribution may be through the written word share through articles and poems the understanding of this divine Principle which has come to them through experience, patient watching, and faithful listening.
