How great is the goodness of the Almighty! In deepest gratitude I should like to bear witness to the healing power of Christian Science. At the time of my finding Science I was in the depths of darkness, confusion, and fear. I cried out to God in my distress, feeling that help could come only from Him, and read from the Bible its words of comfort.
Then I heard of Christian Science and attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. My consciousness was so darkened that I heard little of what was read from the desk. But I was greatly impressed by the wonderful atmosphere, and my one thought was that at last I had found home and comfort. Like a tired child, I rested in the feeling I had of the presence of Love.
I was very busy with my daily occupation, but the great desire to be able to attend the meetings regularly was soon fulfilled, and I became a faithful attendant at the church services. More and more the darkness yielded to light, and I became happy and free. The testimonies at the Wednesday evening meetings were very helpful. Soon I learned to apply what I heard. I purchased Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and had a few helpful experiences of my own. Also I turned to the help of a Christian Science practitioner.
