Having been a Christian Scientist all my life, I have had numerous healings and experiences for which I am deeply grateful. Every condition through the years that has not met the requirements of normality and harmony has been treated through Christian Science. Applied with consecration, Science has always turned care into joy, sickness into health, anxiety into gratitude.
When our little boy got his first teeth, they closed with the lower front teeth on the outside and several upper front teeth on the inside. This caused them to be crooked where they interfered with one another.
I treated the problem in Christian Science for a short time, and when there was no improvement I asked for help from a practitioner. Through her work my anxious thought was calmed, and I was encouraged. However, after several months there was still no change, and it seemed sensible to have the treatment discontinued. The only way I could feel right about this decision was by determining that I would not come to accept error as permanent and that I would claim the truth about the condition every time I thought of it. For a year and a half I continued in this constant effort, and I was very successful in keeping my thought on the truth.
