"The Lord is in this place;
And I knew it not."
In the very midst of doubt and fear
When pain and death boldly vaunted their mockeries
I heard His voice, felt His presence gently wrap me round;
Thus, in weakness, His strength I found,
And rising quickly from my couch of pain,
Newborn, I humbly praised His name.
And evermore I shall rejoice,
For now I know truly
"The Lord is in this place,"
My ever-present help,
The great I AM.
