After having experienced help and a better understanding of Christian Science through reading the authorized periodicals for many years, I should like to express my gratitude. Words are inadequate to tell of the joy and harmony Christian Science has brought me. Mrs. Eddy states in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 126), "Works, more than words, should characterize Christian Scientists." Our works are the true expression of our gratitude to God, as well as to our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
Physical healings in our family have been many. Our two boys, whose births were harmonious, have never known any way of healing but that taught in Christian Science. Colds, effects of accidents, and so-called children's diseases have been healed by Truth.
Some of these healings required much study and application of the truths taught in Christian Science, and the loving help of a practitioner was sometimes requested; but no doubt was ever entertained as to the outcome of any problem. The spiritual growth at such times has greatly outweighed the physical benefits received.
