Love's Persuasion

From the November 1956 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Never an hour to grope in grief and sadness;
Never a time to waste in bitter tear!
What if your dream has been a dream of parting?
Wake to the dawn of endless day and clear.

Wider horizons ever lie before you.
Climb, only climb, and claim the larger view.
Your Father's plan is wise for all His children,
Guiding and guarding those you love and you.

Never a dream but ends in an awakening,
Never a journey from the Father's care.
Claim now the freedom of a faith abiding,
Found in His love, complete and everywhere.
