"Forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors."
O God of mercy and of love,
We leave our gift
Before the altar. If we see aught
Of grievance between our brother
And ourselves, oh, with Thy touch,
Heal now our blinded eyes
That, with perception purified,
Thine image we may see.
Oh, show to us reality;
Behind oppressor and oppressed,
Our Father's children, fearless, blessed.
Thus freed from all self-righteousness
And recognizing only good,
We are of guile bereft.
O God, accept our gratitude
And hallow now our gift.
