Christian Science was presented to my mother when I was a very small child. She accepted and utilized it daily in rearing her family of five children, and many were the healings of so-called children's diseases, cuts, upset stomach, colds, sunburn, school problems, lack, discordant relationships, and undiagnosed illnesses.
At one time my mother became ill with pneumonia. A practitioner was called, and a Christian Science nurse lovingly administered to her needs in the daytime.
A medical nurse who had just become interested in Christian Science was obtained for night duty. Death seemed imminent one night, and this nurse became alarmed. Not wanting to arouse the family, she decided to put her trust in God and declared that Life is ever present. As she held to this truth, the picture before her changed, and the patient fell into a normal sleep. Soon my mother was restored to health.
