I grew up in a home where Christian Science was studied and practiced, and my husband and I have had the joy of seeing our children reared in such a home. They learned from early infancy to love Truth and to depend on Christian Science to meet their needs. Besides the wonderful protection and provision we have enjoyed, I have seen many healings take place: healings of faulty eyesight, deafness, stomach ulcers, decayed teeth, and many other difficulties.
Science has been our recourse and help in all manner of problems. We have moved frequently, and each time, even during a time of shortage, we have found a place to live. And on each occasion we were beautifully led and protected in our choice.
When our boy was three, we were living in a northern state where the winters were very cold. One year we purchased a house early in the autumn, but it was not until December that the negotiations were completed. When we had first visited the house, the boy had seen a large, deep fish pond surrounded by shrubbery and vegetation at the back of the property.
