I have had many healings through the application of the truth as taught in Christian Science; some have come with the help of practitioners, and others as a result of my own understanding that God's spiritual laws are present and instantly available to heal and bless.
One time while traveling by automobile in an unfamiliar place, we were overtaken by a severe storm. It was dark, and although we expected to arrive in a short time, we continued on for such a long distance that we decided we must be lost.
I declared, and tried to realize, the protection and unerring direction and guidance of ever-present divine Mind. Finally we did arrive safely in a town and went into a restaurant for some refreshment. The man in charge asked us where we had come from. After we told him, he said: "How in the world did you get here? We understand there is a washout; all traffic is stalled, and many cars are off the road."
