I cannot begin to thank God or to show my gratitude adequately for the changes in my human experience that have come through the study and application of Christian Science, which is in accordance with the teachings and example of Christ Jesus. When we realize that every Church of Christ, Scientist, every Christian Science Society, every Christian Science college organization, and every Christian Science healing has come through Mrs. Eddy's revelation of God, of His ever-sustaining and available power and how to utilize it, is it any wonder that Christian Scientists are immeasurably grateful to her?
I have received many healings through Christian Science, but the one that stands out to me is the one which enabled me to become a member of both The Mother Church and a branch church and to have class instruction within a year and a half.
I married a fine man who had been reared in Christian Science but was not at that time seriously studying it. However, after our marriage and the birth of our two boys, he became an earnest student. I studied some and always turned to Science for the solution of all problems, both for myself and for our boys. So-called children's diseases were either not caught or disappeared in a short time. The teeth of one of our boys were straightened through Christian Science.
