"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, Pref., p. vii). This citation gave me much comfort when I first opened a copy of the Christian Science textbook, even though I understood little of its meaning.
I wish to submit this testimony in gratitude that a life of despair and loneliness has been remade by Christian Science. My family and I have had blessings of protection, guidance, love, and abundant supply through our own work or through the help of practitioners, and I am sincerely grateful for Christ Jesus and his teachings and for Mrs. Eddy's writings, which she gave to the world to illumine the uninspired thought.
Having been reared in a home where very little love was expressed, I grew up resentful, bitter, and with many false traits of character. Unanswered questions about why I existed frustrated me; therefore life was a complete mystery. After my marriage, everything became so complicated for me that life seemed a constant turmoil. This is where Christian Science found me.
