That Christian Science is indeed the truth has been proved in my experience. It is a great privilege to have been in the loving embrace of a Christian Science Sunday School since the age of two and a half, to have been brought up to know and love this healing religion and thereby see how it is the logical fulfillment of Jesus' promise, "I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth" (John 14:16, 17).
In my school days I learned to utilize the understanding I was gaining in Sunday School and in weekday religious instruction. By the time I was eleven the thought of giving God the glory carried me through my first regional examination successfully when my teacher had said that failure was inevitable in my case. The result of the examination secured for me a place in a good school. Just before the start of the term, however, a different place was offered, which appeared right to accept. This proved to be a wonderful blessing.
In my schoolwork I have seen Christian Science recognized by many of my friends as a demonstrable religion. During recent examinations some turned to me for helpful thoughts in Christian Science on their particular topic. It was rewarding to hear the staff telling us that never before had they felt such a lovely atmosphere in an examination room. The companionship of Christian Science at times like this is a precious joy!
