With a heart full of gratitude for Christian Science and our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who made this wonderful divine law available to us, I wish to submit this testimony.
It was the opinion of several physicians that because of pernicious anemia my mother had probably only a few days to live. This condition, which had been growing alarmingly more critical, had been a problem of long standing.
I was raised in a Protestant church and believed in the power of prayer to the best of my understanding. One night, as I turned to God in prayer, the words "Christian Science" came strongly and clearly to my thought. I knew it to be a special message for me. In the morning I told my mother, and she agreed it was a special message and should be heeded.
