Christian Science is an entirely new way of life, and I am unspeakably grateful for having been given the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, many years ago. Ever since I have relied entirely on the teachings of Christian Science, I have experienced many healings and countless blessings, abundance, protection, and happiness.
Grief, and also excessive fear and depression, have been healed. A nervous breakdown was healed with treatment by a Christian Science practitioner, whose patience, encouragement, and compassion have been a beacon to me down the years.
Abundance was demonstrated one spring when our well, which we depended upon for our water supply, became so low that we had to have the pipe extended to reach the remaining water level. I was told that we had only sufficient water for a few days and that then there would probably be no more until the springs broke in the autumn, three or four months later. I asked a practitioner for help about it, and she suggested we work with the Bible promises on supply, one of which reads (Isa. 12:3), "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation."
