It was over thirty-five years ago that I became acquainted with this marvelous Science. In the years since then I have been eyewitness to innumerable proofs of the healing power of the omnipotent Christ. I have known a number of persons whose gratitude to Christian Science is unlimited, for through the study and application of Mary Baker Eddy's teachings they were freed from their heavy burdens, including cancer, tuberculosis, rheumatism, other types of disease, and problems of various kinds. They learned to know and love God, and man as He created him in His image and likeness. I, too, have learned to know Him and to handle error with good success.
For years I had endured liver and stomach disturbances brought on by an ulcer of the pylorus. The medical treatment to which I submitted and the intake of medicines only afforded me some relief when I dieted. When I took up the earnest study of Christian Science, the stomach trouble, without direct metaphysical treatment, rapidly disappeared.
