Several have been held. Some are in process. And there are more to come.
They're the Healing Goal Meetings cosponsored by The Mother Church with branch churches and college organizations in the Field. Over a period of time it is the intent of The Christian Science Board of Directors to hold enough such meetings so that every Christian Scientist can attend one within a reasonable distance of his home area. It is expected, however, that each member will attend no more than one.
As explained in Church in Action in the October, 1973, Journal, these meetings are part of the effort to fulfill the Healing Goal of The Mother Church.
