A few years ago I was confronted with a business problem. It concerned making a decision to dispose of an established family business in which I was involved, because it was not compatible with Christian Science. There were doubts, fears, and procrastination in searching for the right answer. Progress was slow, and after many months nothing happened.
Then complications set in. The lease was getting short. The landlords were unwilling to grant an extension. Plans for building development of the site were vetoed by the government, indefinitely. In short, the situation for selling the business could not have been worse.
So I decided to stand for Christian Science and I would be shown what to do.
