When I was a young girl, a dear friend placed a copy of The Herald of Christian Science in my hands saying, "Here is a religion which accomplishes healings as in Jesus' time."
I had no doubts about the veracity of the testimonies I read and was at once convinced that this was the religion I needed.
Soon, put to the test of proving this method of healing, I healed myself within twenty minutes of a severe attack of tonsillitis. This healing encouraged me to apply what I understood of Christian Science to solve other difficulties, such as problems of supply and of finding accommodations.
