General Information

From the June 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Last year, at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, The Christian Science Board of Directors announced a new Fund designed so Christian Scientists and others who love the Monitor can do something tangible to show their support.

Response to the Endowment Fund over the past year has been encouraging, and the Directors appreciate this evidence of support. The Fund continues to be open for contributions.

And the Monitor continues to be "absolutely vital . . . to the work of our Cause." As the Directors also stated in their message to members in June 1978, "... there has rarely been a time when the need for the Monitor's voice in public affairs was so great, rarely a time when its opportunities for service to mankind were so promising."The Christian Science Journal, August 1978, p. 455.
