From the June 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

How well are you representing God?

"Too often we regard good as something to be attained rather than as the present reality of being. Right now, despite what the material senses say to the contrary, we are actually representing the completeness of Soul, the substantiality of Spirit, the purity of Truth, and the vitality of Life."

No spiritual devaluation

"Manipulation of currency, the application of economic theories— these don't get entirely at the root of economic problems, and they frequently fail to work as planned. But as we see true economy as divine . . . when Spirit is seen as constituting all real substance, we'll be above the influence of revaluation or devaluation. We'll know our destiny to be controlled by Love, whose values have never changed and never will change."

What the patient can do

An editorial—"The role of patient should not be a passive one. Working with a practitioner is a wonderful opportunity to deepen our spiritual perception and to strengthen the sinews of our conviction . . . to remove any rocks of resistance to currents of Truth."
