Several years ago, I was out deep-sea fishing with family and friends on a cabin cruiser. Our boat suddenly hit a huge wave. I was thrown into the air, and both bare feet landed with great force on the edge of a metal step. They were severely injured and appeared quite deformed. Also, my knee and shoulder were damaged.
Everyone on board prayed to acknowledge only the allness of God and His perfect creation, and to dispute the alarming picture of the material senses.
My family and I decided to have a physician set the broken bones. At the hospital, the bone specialist said that my feet and ankles were so swollen he could not set them, but he would plan to do so two days later. X-rays were taken, and the doctor had casts put on my legs from the knees down.
