The caller and called

From the July 1982 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Come, pray with me, friend, 'til the dark vision passes,
And the truth of God's allness avails.
(The caller and called—fellow learners,
Partners in a project of proving
God's Word is forever.)

Come, walk with me, friend, 'til the fear-thoughts have vanished,
And the sense-pain no longer assails.
(The caller and called—fellow pray-ers.
Receptive to what Mind is knowing;
God's kingdom is now and forever.)

Come, feast with me, friend, at the wilderness table
Where no enemy presence prevails.
(The caller and called—fellow healers,
Partake of His health and wholeness,
For Love's giving gives forever.)

Come, rejoice with me, friend, and thank God for His summons
To victory for the caller and the called.
