Clearing the air of personal sense

From the April 1983 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Who needs it?
Accolades, praise, fodder for pride—
personal sense designed to hide the fact
that God is All. And man is, and has, and does as God's reflection.

I thank you for your "thank-you," but no thank you to
boost for, or toast to, an accomplished mortal.
I know myself as God's complete reflection—
including the Father's praise,
"Well done, son."

And so, my friend, do you.
Yes. So do you.
