"O win them back again"

(Christian Science Hymnal, No. 315)

From the March 1988 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Misunderstandings
bitter tears
excuses, fears
crumble on the table
of the unselfed heart...
when Church is served.

Pride, jealousy
criticism's shove
dissolve in arms
of Love
stumble no longer over
Christlike caring
when Church is served.

Hypocrisy slinks away.
Thought undefiled
welcomes home
Truth's pure child
humbles the voice
with gentle words—
when Church is served.

Healing sickness
eliminating sin
God's pure messages
found within
tumble on the consciousness
of all who yearn...
and Church is served.
