Before my husband and I married, he had become interested in Christian Science. Following the Second World War, he had been healed of deep depression after his physician could do no more for him.
I began attending a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, with my husband. Soon I realised that I would not be deprived by withdrawing my membership from the church in which I had been baptised and confirmed, and that there was much good to gain through this new church membership.
One of my first healings in Christian Science was of rheumatism, a condition believed to be hereditary. Many times in my early years I had found it difficult to walk, and during my adult years I was confined to bed for weeks at a time. The medication given always relieved the pain but did not cure the condition.
