Fairness, objectivity, honesty. Good will, fearlessness, dependability.

Our world hungers for evidence of these virtues, and The Christian Science Monitor has been committed to such ideals for eighty years. The needs of mankind have not changed much. But our ability to address them today is almost without limit.

Two events make us particularly mindful of the long-ranging vision which gave birth to the Monitor, and to which we remain firmly committed.
