Over the past five decades I have given many many testimonies of healing during Wednesday testimony meetings in branch Churches of Christ, Scientist. Yet this is the first testimony I have written for our periodicals. These magazines have given me so much support, inspiration, and encouragement that I must express my gratitude by contributing an account of some of the healings my family and I have had through the study of Christian Science. My husband and I brought up two daughters, relying wholeheartedly on God for their care.
At one time a dentist said that one of our twelve-year-old daughter's canine teeth would not grow out because the gum was improperly formed. He added that surgery would be necessary. We prayed about this, realizing that in her true nature as God's idea, our daughter was spiritual, complete, and perfect. Within a week or so the tooth came through and grew normally.
Our family has had numerous other healings, including those of a burn, flu, back pain, swollen knee, and hay fever.
