A branch church in Australia recently wrote to The Mother Church telling about an important decision they had made.
"At our last [members meeting] ... one item ... was to consider the following motion: "That this church donate the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars to The Mother Church ... towards the costs incurred in the establishment of a world [wide] shortwave radio facility and that this money be sent with a letter expressing our deep appreciation for and support of the continuing leadership provided by The Mother Church.'
"Following some discussion of the motion, all of which was supportive, a member moved an amendment to increase the amount to fifty thousand dollars. The amendment was ... carried and the motion passed.
