Our branch church wanted to know what it is, really, that touches an individual's heart so profoundly that he would then decide to commit his life to Christian Science.
Considering that all members in our branch church had to make this radical decision for themselves at one point in their lives, we decided to ask the entire church membership to focus on this issue by submitting a brief account of how they or their relatives came into Christian Science.
The dozens of reports, which were both enlightening and moving, awakened us to the supreme importance of "letting our light shine." Nearly every individual said that his or her first contact with this "pearl of great price" came about through a one-to-one sharing by a Christian Scientist. Here are just a few of them:
