On Friday, January 8, Virginia S. Harris, the Publisher of the Writings of Mary Baker Eddy, held the first of a series of half-day meetings to consider the possibilities and responsibilities surrounding Mrs. Eddy's book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. About eighty employees from the entire Christian Science Center attended this first meeting and, subsequently, all employees have had the opportunity to participate. Great spiritual attention and creativity were devoted to this purpose by participants. These were not complicated meetings nor did they involve a sober listening to speeches. They fully engaged everyone's best efforts in considering three specific questions:
What is your vision of the role Science and Health should be playing in the world ten years from now?
How might this vision be made practical, especially in ways that will make Science and Health more available to mankind?
