Editors' note: Most of the letters we print in our "Letters" column are brief That way we hare room to publish a wider range of views and helpful ideas. Sometimes, however, a longer letter carries the kind of healing message that deserves some extra space. This letter from a longtime Christian Scientist certainly falls into that category. We hope you 'II enjoy reading it as much as we did.
Dear Friends:
Our family was introduced to Christian Science in 1917 by my mother in a peculiar manner. A few years before, she went with a friend to visit a man who they both thought was a fortuneteller. He turned out to be a Christian Science practitioner. When they left his home he presented a copy of Science and Health to my mother, who when she arrived home, placed it in a small bookcase and forgot about it.
