Shortly after having taken Christian Science class instruction I had a wonderfully quick healing of a severe burn.
I had borrowed an electric heating element to start the coals in our barbecue pit, and since we decided to go for a boat ride on the lake, I thought it wise to remove the element before we started. I lodged it on top of the barbecue, but the weight of the handle caused it to fall. Quickly I grabbed the hot iron, and my hand stuck fast to it.
When I freed my hand, I did not mention to the family what had occurred. As lightheartedly as I could, I called to them to go ahead on the boat ride because I had something that I must take care of (and so indeed I did!).
