Through the years I have found that an excellent way to grow in the understanding and demonstration of Christ Jesus' teachings is by participating consistently in church activity. All of the various activities I've undertaken for church have required much time and prayer, but they also have brought me lots of joy, spiritual growth, and healing.
For six generations my family has found that understanding and applying the teachings of Christian Science brings health and happiness, progress and success, safety and supply. My three children and two grandchildren have learned to value this religion by seeing it loved and lived at home and learning about it in Sunday School. Now all of them are active church members.
Rarely were any of our children absent from school, and one daughter went from kindergarten through high school without missing a day. On the few occasions when physical problems did occur with any of the children, they were healed quickly through our prayers, or with the help of Christian Science practitioners.
