Our Saviour saw
no mortal flaw;
he beheld
with vividness unparalleled
God's perfect child,
undefiled,
intact
in spiritual fact.
Through reliance
on Christ Science,
we too can learn
to discern
with opened eyes—
to realize,
as did Jesus—
the truth that frees us.
