To our readers . . .

From the Publishing Director's Office

From the April 1995 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Occasionally, we have used this space to inform you about some of the newer publications available and to provide a means to receive samples. Many people have enjoyed this opportunity to try out a diskette or printed periodical before subscribing. This month, we are announcing one new sample, the Christian Science QuarterlyBible Lessons on videotape. We thought we'd review the others as well.

New sample: The Bible Lesson on videotape is available for broadcasting on local television, for use in Reading Rooms, and for direct sale to individuals. Each thirty minute videocassette contains one week's Lesson read by an individual sitting in a casual home setting. The Lesson text is scrolled across the bottom of the screen as it is being read.

The Bible Lesson on audiocassette is packaged monthly with two to three cassettes each month, depending on the number of Lessons. The tapes contain one Lesson on each side of a cassette and are mailed in an attractive, sturdy cardboard portfolio. Listeners hear a male and a female voice reading the Bible Lessons.
