I am grateful for having been brought up attending a Christian Science Sunday School. What I learned there kept me free from fear and healed me quickly of any illnesses. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6).
Our three girls were instructed in Sunday School also, and learned to love God and obey the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. A special hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal dwelt in my thought and comforted me during the expectation, birth, and care of each new baby.
While feeding one baby and reading the Lesson one morning, I suddenly found our seven-year-old had a large lollipop stuck in her throat. My husband and I tried to help, but our efforts were in vain until I calmly remembered Psalm 91:11: "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." I had just read this in the Lesson, and as I thought of God's power the lollipop immediately dislodged and came out of her mouth.
