My journey in search of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures began eight years before I even knew that such a book existed. However, it was only a few years ago that I discovered the whole purpose and value of that journey.
Forty years ago I was drafted into the Portuguese Armed Forces. The fact that I didn't have a choice in this matter made me feel very frustrated and resentful, and this resentment stayed with me for several years after I left the Army. I felt this part of my life had been totally wasted. However, I found out later that this was not the case.
