Mary Baker Eddy: a lifetime of healing
When George Glover, Mary Baker Eddy's son, wrote that he was coming to Boston to spend the winter of 1887-88 with his mother—and his wife and three children were coming as well—the news came at an especially busy time for Mrs. Eddy. Her days and weeks were filled with teaching classes on Christian Science, meeting with her students association in the chapel of Tremont Temple, regularly writing for The Christian Science Journal, maintaining a constant and growing correspondence with students, and serving as Pastor to her Church. Nevertheless, she welcomed her son and his family. Mrs. Eddy loved her grandchildren, and she enjoyed introducing them to the members of her Church.
