Some time ago, the fact of the oneness of God and man was deeply impressed on me. Many times this helped me claim my unity with the Father—my absolute inseparability from Him. Science and Health says, "In divine Science, God and the real man are inseparable as divine Principle and idea" (p. 476). Isn't it wonderful to know that we are absolutely inseparable from Life, Truth, Love, perfection, intelligence—in fact all that God is?
During a trip to London a friend and I decided to visit a couple of museums. On the bus ride my finger became entangled in the overhead strap, and was pulled out of joint. I freed it and put my hand into my jacket pocket, repeating over and over that I was inseparable from God's goodness. When we left the bus, I said to my friend, "Oh, look at me, standing with my hand in my pocket!" Then I realized that the finger had been healed.
During my time in Sunday School, with the help and guidance of my teachers, I had many healings, and so did family pets.
