We often accept our healings as a matter of fact but neglect or forget to give thanks for them. Thanks for the following healing is long overdue.
In the spring of I960 I was suddenly struck with a feeling of extreme weakness. Later, there was discomfort in the region of the heart.
During the ensuing months, I studied the Bible and Christian Science literature diligently. I also had a Christian Science practitioner treat me at different times. I often sang hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal, especially hymns of praise to God. I did little else besides get my meals, and I often went out for lunch.
