A letter from a doctor of psychotherapy

From the October 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"I have read Science and Health through and now I'm studying it. . . .

"The 'chemicalization' or 'fermentation' being in progress, I cannot say much except that I had reached certain ideas of Christian Science on my own, and it is not surprising, because even in 'natural' sciences discoveries are sometimes made by several scientists, even at the same time. . . .

'Among my friends, there are 'seekers for Truth' like me, but there is no one to teach us. . . . Are there Christian Scientists in Moldova or near it, and how can we get in touch with them? . . . With inconsistent success, I have made several attempts of Mind-healing on myself, but I'm afraid to try it on others yet.

". . . Other doctors, my colleagues, would also like to have Science and Health and to study it, but one copy is obviously not enough, and I'm very unwilling to give away my copy. ... I will only give it to someone to read, hoping that God knows who has a greater need of this book . . . "

—from a listener from Moldova, who hears the shortwave broadcasts of The Herald of Christian Science (Russian)
