LETTERS

From the December 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I am a practicing Roman Catholic, but find your publication a wonderful companion in my spiritual readings (I have read Science and Health many times). I enjoy the Journal's new, more diverse articles on spirituality. The October issue was excellent with its many articles on the healings of addictions. Please, try to continue the format of "spiritual healing" and how it happens when anyone goes to Christ in prayer. Do you have an article coming up about the Catholic Church in a future issue?

I grabbed "Mary Baker Eddy: Selected readings: From the collections of The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity" out of the Journal and put it in my car CD player and listened to it driving from New York to Boston and again during much of the return trip. It was so interesting and beautifully read. The history gave me a fresh view when I went back to reading Science and Health. The freshness of ideas is so important in the reading of that book. Thank you for the CD, and I hope you make more.
