What philosophers think about peace and reality

Recently, Journal staffer talked with professor of philosophy and religion at Alma College, in Alma, Michigan. In his courses, Dr. Stratton talks to his students about the subject of ontology, which, as Webster defines it, is "the branch of metaphysics dealing with the nature of being, reality, or ultimate substance."

Dr. Stratton spoke from his perspective as both as philosopher and a Christian about his thoughts on the subject. Here's what he had to say about peace, the nature of reality, and good and evil.
