Some years ago, while showering one morning, I found a tender spot under my arm. A few days later I found a lump there. I immediately started to pray in order to stop fear from creeping into my thought. I refused to acknowledge that the lump had any power or intelligence to harm me—since I knew that because God hadn't made it, it didn't have any of its own.
A day or so after I began praying, I thought of the phrase "citizen's arrest" that I'd heard in one of my favorite episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, and I started to laugh. In one particular scene, Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife, having just cited Gomer Pyle for an illegal U-turn, makes a U-turn himself while on duty. Gomer sees him and comes running across the street, hollering "Citizen's arrest! Citizen's arrest!" Of course, Barney is furious.
God's laws of health protect and free you.
