Even though I live in England, I love Mary Baker Eddy's provision for branch [Churches of Christ, Scientist] to hold an annual Thanksgiving service, no matter where in the world they are. I'm so grateful to Mrs. Eddy for bringing the message of the Christ, Comforter, to us all in the form of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and I give God thanks for it.
I'm grateful for growth in grace in my part-time work and for a physical healing. I had been studying Science and Health for help in healing a difficulty in breathing. Then, some very unfriendly behavior from one of my colleagues led me to pray about this situation also. I prayed to know that as God's children we are governed by divine Love, and the divine Principle of goodness controls our thinking. I realized I could just go on loving no matter what and this love could not be stopped because Love is stronger than hate. At work the next morning, I felt guided by divine Love to put my arm around this colleague and ask her what the trouble was. She said there was none. I said I felt it was important for us all to share friendship in the workplace and to be happy together. We have had a good working relationship since and the difficulty in breathing was also cured.
