LETTERS

From the October 2005 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The August Journal, which was so filled with refreshing inspiration, was to me like the water pouring forth from the rock in the wilderness. Every article seemed to address my every concern and need. I especially benefited from Barbara Vining's editorial, "The future? Improve it now!" [p. 62]. I love her statements that compare us, as God's spiritual ideas, to numbers and notes, which help to so clearly explain her point. This really opened my understanding in a new way to the fact that, indeed, God is constantly supplying us with His unchanging Love and revealing His dependable right ideas for every experience and circumstance in our lives. I was able to sing a new song, armed with the insight that she gives about overcoming old, chronic ways of thinking.

After looking through the August Journal, I wanted to sit down and read the entire thing at once. Everything looked so inviting, and there were so many topics that I knew would give me the answers I've been looking for. The last three Journals I have received have meant so much to me, and I am so grateful for everything that the writers have shared. A special thanks to Barbara Vining and David F. Stevens ["Choose good," p. 28] for what I learned from their articles.
